When The Salvation Army comes to town, we become a part of the community. We join your Rotary or Kiwanis Club and get to know you. We shop at the farmers’ market, watch the high school football game, and stop by the corner coffee shop for a cup of joe on the way to work.

My friends, the Trainors retired from active service as officers in The Salvation Army today. They have been the divisional leaders of the great Western Australia Division. Their ministry speaks for itself and the response of the division on Sunday night further supported them on this occasion.
We salute these leaders now in well deserved retirement. [...]
The Pioneers Session reunion is taking place this weekend. We wish them well.
They, and many like them are the reason The Salvation Army in Australia is the most trusted brand.
They would remind us that it has been God’s doing.
