Let’s just do what we can and trust God in the process.

The Celebration of Life Service for Major Hector Orellana was held at the Tucson South Corps where he and his wife are the Corps Leaders. It was an amazing service complete with wonderful music and beautiful tributes. He is alive in glory and is known for his compassion, hard work, and faithfulness.

It was an honor to give a few words at the service. Colonel Olin Hogan led the meeting and Lt. Colonel Doug Danielson gave the message. Many other family members and friends participated as well.

One of the Majors hopes was to expand the chapel at the corps. He proved that to all of us Friday night as it was a standing room only crowd.

There’s no doubt in my mind that he has been greeted in heaven with, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” Hallelujah!

Would you like to know what will happen tomorrow? Can you imagine knowing in advance what life would be like in five years?

In many ways, we can all see the future.

Let me explain. If we are trusting God with our lives, we know we will have peace. If we are transformed by the love of God (saved), we know we have heaven in our future. The Bible is clear about what heaven is like. We can expect a happy marriage, loving relationships, and satisfaction in our living.

Without God, a person’s future is as predictable.

Now that you can see the future, do you like what you see?

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.” - Hebrews 1:1-2

Last night at the Pasadena Tabernacle Corps, we celebrated the life and ministry of Lt. Colonel Rhode Danielson. It was presented with devoted praise and energetic adoration to the Lord she loves and now knows completely.

With many sections of the corps participating, always at a high standard, we valued the message by Commissioner Bill Lutrell who beautifully encapsulated Rhode’s spirit and deep love for God.

Accompanied by her family and many loved ones, we glorified God and enjoyed His presence. Hallelujah!

We will look forward to the day in which we will join her in the company of Jesus.

20He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.
