Be bored no more.

Join us at The Salvation Army for an adventure in helping people of all walks of life. Depending upon your willingness, there’s ought to be something for you to do. There are so many days in which we struggle to get it all done and often have limited resources to just hire more people.

When you get there, ask them too about how a person can grow in their faith. It has something to do with making yourself available.

“Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 97:10 NIV

Having recently visited the Big Island of Hawaii, I have seen the evidence of a mountain moved.

Our mountains are not as much made of stone as they are monumental obstacles creating difficulties for the mission of God through us. These mountainous concerns will move by the grace of God through faith. I’ve witnessed such miracles.

An addiction is a mountain that God will move. Stealing is another. Depression, physical infirmities, and calamities can all be mountains as well. Know that God will move these mountains as you trust Him. Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 13:2
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

With each year comes a time of new appointments for officers. We have a record number of new officer to be commissioned who need appointments. We have a regular flow of officers retiring and a certain number of officers stepping out of the work. It all adds up to changes.

We’ve been in meetings today to consider the possibilities under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!

Please join us in prayer for the right appointments for the right people. There are many factors that come together to make a decision of this sort. Pray we have good and sufficient information. Together we’ll trust God.

You can see that they get it here in Hawaii.

Did you know that they have 6 different Youth Councils here with over 600 in attendance. This is pretty terrific, considering they cover five time zones. It is an amazing place to serve the Lord. Yes!

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
