Kona Corps, Hawaii

by Jim Knaggs on January 22, 2012

Located on the Big Island, the Kona Corps is a beautiful expression of Salvationism. We enjoyed sharing in ministry today with Divisional Leaders, Majors Edward and Shelley Hill and Corps Leaders, Lieutenants Kelly and Matthew Pensabene. Of course the local leaders were present and faithfully on duty.

Many young people and adults were enrolled as Community Care Ministry Members. This is a great opportunity to engage our people in caring ministries. Hallelujah!

The Youth Chorus was a delight and there was a blessed spirit present throughout the meeting. God bless the Kona Corps.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5 NIV

Thank you for the report! We don’t here much about the Army’s work in Hawaii here in the East…I am glad that you made the trip! Take care and be safe!
