TEC – Day 2
Today’s Territorial Executive Council focused on personnel. We looked at leader development, caring for officers and different ways to support the many people who make up TSA in the Western Territory. God bless Lt. Colonel Dave Hudson and team for their outstanding work and ministry throughout the year and today. Hallelujah!
Often I’ve heard it said we seem to care more for the down and out than for those within the ranks. In too many cases, I would agree. The truth is, we should love all as Jesus loves us. With some people, we’ve hurt them by our action or inaction. God help us and keep us from doing harm. We need to represent Jesus by our love, holiness, and practical expressions.
“Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.”- Titus 2:2

The Rubicon, recently published a brief review of the book “1929″. In this review, Mark Braye noted several issues that reach across the many decades to the Army of today. The Western Territory has clearly benefitted from the insight and awareness of Lt. Col. David Hudson – but perhaps even more, his passion to serve this body of believers.

Thank you for your ministry and words of encouragement and leadership. My husband Jerry and I are somewhat new to The Salvation Army but feel such a
strong connection that I am sure God had this plan for some time and we finally stopped and listened. Thank you Jesus! Looking forward to seeing you both again tomorrow.
