Coming Attractions

by Jim Knaggs on August 18, 2010

Without minimizing the significance of meetings today, I’ve had a couple that were all about ideas for the future of our territory. When you draw together responsible and competent people who have an acute interest in our mission, this becomes a great opportunity and one that exudes hope and potential.

Let us use every possible vehicle for the salvation of the people of the world, and let us gather our brightest and best to focus upon the most effective means to do so. Hallelujah!

“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”- 1 John 5:12

Partnerships are important to the ministry of The Salvation Army, I know that in Long Beach, we can live without them! Thanks for your outlook on this very important aspect of ministry Commissioner!

Can I have an appointment that consists of “idea-making?” Some of my appointment complies . . . but not EVERYDAY! Wahoo . . . ideas make the world go around. And ideas for Jesus are the best. I was blessed by an article in your USW magazine about Supper Club . . . near and dear to my heart and mind. What a great IDEA for Jesus.

  4. It is always a challenge to marry vision with reality – to have the guardians of the truth meet the prophets! The priests of Israel were always less comfortable with a prophet in their midst. May the LORD bless and lead your work.
