Trusting God
I’ve been praying through a couple of matters that I’m dealing with in the last few weeks. In an outcome based culture, the outcomes of life are not the most reliable answer to our primary objectives. I know this sounds abstract. Let me try to simplify while maintaining a measure of privacy.
More important than any outcome is trusting God.
We tend to want to control the outcomes in life, sometimes by our own devices and sometime by our prayers. I firmly believe that God hears our prayers and that our prayers make a difference. We need, however to know that He is God, not us.
Our trust, then is our best outcome. Hallelujah!
“This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”- Jeremiah 33:2-3
