Things Change

by Jim Knaggs on July 27, 2010

For improvement to occur, things have to change. When things remain as they are, you do not have improvement. Some people resist change so much that they convince themselves improvement is not necessary. That may be true about your favorite desert, but when it comes to the Kingdom of God, improvement is the gospel.

When things change back, it mostly means you are going the wrong way. Now this is all written in the context of constructive and God honoring change. Change in itself may not be helpful, but we’ll need to change to move from where we are. Comfortable? Not me. Hallelujah!

Matthew 18:3
And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Wow. I preached this Sunday. More about taking our faith back to when we were kilt kids and didn’t need to analyze God. We just trusted Him. Now we can do so with adult maturity and wisdom and childlike faith in Christ.

  2. Preach it, brother! Not only do you preach it, but you’ve set an example. Thanks.

  3. Thank God for change! Without it I wouldn’t be here…

Thank you. Know that I am committed to being God’s agent of change in this world. Change happens small and has a ripple effect. For me, there is no better place effectively be an agent of change, than at a Training College. I am loving my work in the Philippines. It is a very wonderful thing to fully be the person that God created you to be, live in the center of His will, and allow Him to use you.
I’ve got some wonderful Cadets here who are being changed by Him daily. Watch out world!

We wish to take a moment to welcome you to the Great Western Territory! We are soldiers at the Coeur d’Alene KROC Center in Idaho. We would like to be your friend on Facebook, but cannot seem to find you! There were 13 Knaggs, but not you!

You can count on us to be in prayer for you as you assume the leadership here in the West. May God richly bless you and your wife in your ministries!
