Northwest Division USW

by Jim Knaggs on July 26, 2010

The Divisional Leaders of the Northwest Division are Lt. Colonels Diane and Doug O’Brien. They are great people with a passion for the Lord and His calling for us all. The DHQ team are beautiful people as well with a convincing spirit of camaraderie that glorifies God. In addition to meeting so many good staff members, we enjoyed the mid-week devotions presented by Captains Beverley and James Lloyd, newly established in their corps at Bellingham, WA.

We were also able to witness the work of God in the lives of people benefiting from our services in two of our expertly run shelters in Seattle. God help them. Hallelujah!

Thank you, friends for your faithful ministry.

‘Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”- Hebrews 12:1

We think the O’Briens are wonderful to serve with. We were so blessed my their leadership and mentoring for the year we were with them in Sierra del Mar. Their DS and CCM Sec are pretty great too! :)

We have known the Colonels for many years (in fact knew him before he ever went to training!) and are blessed to have them here in our Division. They are both such fine leaders and so talented!
