Lt. Colonel Rhode Danielson – PTG
We lost a saint today. She is Lt. Colonel Rhode Danielson, the wife of Lt. Colonel Doug Danielson and the mother of Caleb and Hannah. She is the Divisional Women’s Ministry Secretary of the South West Division, Western Territory, USA.
She has been welcomed into heaven, but will be missed incredibly, here.
Thank you, Father for allowing us to know her and always be impacted by her affect on our lives. Hallelujah!
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.

Our loss is Heaven’s gain. What a wonderful woman of God Rhode was. I first met her at a Women’s Camp near Mexico City, in the 1980′s, when I traveled there with Brigadier Verna Davis, who was the guest speaker. Met Rhode’s lovely mother that same trip. God bless all who grieve this incredible loss!
The moment when a soul breaches heavens portals two oposing events occur- One says oh the loss and emptiness we feel, the Other says you are found and heaven is a fuller better place!
Thank you, Commissioner, for your eloquent words. We have lost a precious friend, one who loved and lived to share the love of Jesus. Rhode was always looking for ways to minister to others. She was a very special lady … a radiant Ambassador for the Lord. I feel so privileged to have called her my friend. My heart hurts … but I know the angels are rejoicing. Heaven has one of our finest. My love and prayers are with the entire family.
Marlene,
I’m honored to receive your comments about our beloved sister. I’ll look forward to seeing you before long. God bless you.
Rhode was ablessing to my kids and myself, She always had a smile on her that spoke thousands of kind words !
During one of the instances, I had the opportunity to chat with her and let her know how proud I was to see her as our Leader and as loving mother to Caleb and Hannah and to be a friend to those around her.
Rhode was one of the first officers that helped me out on understanding The Salvation Army Culture, She made me feel welcome into this new world. but most of all because I could call her “mi amiga”!
I will miss her much, but I know that the Lord has called her heavenward!
Blessed be the Lord !
Our prayers and love are with Rhode’s family. What an unexpected notice!
While we know she is now in God’s good hands, we feel we have lost a friend and a great leader and we will certainly miss her. She was also always supportive of our family as she showed us by example with her own family. We will pray that you continue to be strong as you remain together as a family.
New blessings for you from now on…
