Two New Corps
We’re upgrading the status of two existing ministries this week. It’s interesting that they have their names in common. In the same week that the Pope announces the first Australian Saint, we’re recognising St. Kilda in the Melbourne Central Division and St. Mary’s of the Tasmania Division as corps.
This action by the territory is a credit to the divisions and the ministries themselves. Both locations have vibrant expressions of Salvationism and have been thought by many to be corps already. This week they are. Hallelujah!
We will have opened and recognised nine new corps so far this year and bring our total from 174 to 183. Glory to God! He gives us this direction and enabling grace to continue to march forward in His name. We’re believing that as a result, many more people will come to know God’s love for themselves as a result.
“Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.”- Proverbs 14:22

Praise Jesus for our two Saints! It’s wonderful to see a corps in Melbourne’s inner S Suburbs once more (1st Salvo corps was built just N of St Kilda).
