Memorial Service

by Jim Knaggs on February 10, 2010

One of our great Salvationists gave us a reason to celebrate the love of God today. He went to glory a few days ago, so today we listened to family and friends speak of his caring and happy spirit. He witnessed to the saving grace of God in his life in a very natural way.

The band played. We considered with love, his life and loved ones. His departure is not easy. He is missed, but he is in heaven. Hallelujah!

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.”- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
