Four honorary "Pioneers" - i.e. spouses married to session members were included in the group. Five other "Pioneers" dispersed throughout Australia sent their greetings and were embraced in prayerful fellowship; 'though sundered far, by faith we meet, around one common mercy seat'. With gratitude to God we salute the training staff who, by word and example, taught us effective lessons about officership. We will continue to look to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith (Heb. 12:2 RSV).
