Going through some airport security, the company often seen is TSA. I’m sure it’s a good job and all but I’m thinking about people who might work for The Salvation Army. We are always looking for people who have similar missional interests and who qualify for the openings that exist.
I really want to entice younger candidates who want their lives to count for something to consider a future with us. If you’re in university or considering attending university, keep us in mind as a potential work location. We have great opportunities to express your faith on the job and connect your work with your relationship with God.
Ephesians 1:15
That’s why, when I heard of the solid trust you have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love to all the followers of Jesus, I couldn’t stop thanking God for you—every time I prayed, I’d think of you and give thanks. But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his workin us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!

Commissioner I have often thought we should provide scholarships and work place training options for our own young people i.e. nurses, legal, accountants etc and then find them placements within our own organisations. Angela
Me too. maybe we will.
I never got why The Salvation Army has never done that actively. I mean it would just make sense to raise it's people up not just to be soldiers but also to offer them avenues of training in those areas n such especial within the social working areas that are in plenty of our corps and centres.
i think people have tried through the years. Just now we need some strategic thinking on this.
…a timely word…
Time for you?
