1929 A Crisis That Shaped The Salvation Army’s Future. With everything else going on in 1929, TSA had a leadership and constitutional crisis that helped to make us who we are today. So this is the name of a SA book that is captivating, interesting and inspiring. Written by General John Larsson (Rtd.), it reads like a novel, yet represents the facts of certain happenings around the poor health of the second General of TSA and the Founders’ son (William) Bramwell Booth.

Get a copy and check it out. You’ll find it at a SA Trade store or online. It’s worth every penny. Thank you General Larsson for this excellent work. It speaks of the provision of God. Hallelujah!

Proverbs 24:10
If you fall to pieces in a crisis, there wasn’t much to you in the first place.

  1. Very interesting. I just started reading an older book I found in the archives at THQ called “Depose but not Despised” on the same subject, by John Kirkham. I'll be interested to hear General Larsson's novelized version. Thanks.
