International Health Services Workshop
As we speak, the SA International Health Services Workshop is taking place at our Geelong Conference Centre. Under the leadership of Major Dean Pallant of IHQ, the delegates are studying the involvement of TSA in health services around the world. In many places we have retreated from hospital care and even nurses training. This, however, cannot be seen as a reduction in our resolve to holistically minister to people in the name of Jesus.
We maintain medical services as a compliment to many human services we offer. Drug and alcohol services often require a medical component to meet the complete needs of certain people. TSA is deeply involved with AIDS/HIV prevention and treatment in Africa and many other parts of the world. We wish the delegates well in their workshop and trust that the mission of TSA will be advanced as a result.
