International Conference of Leaders 2009
The General has convened this International Conference of Leaders for the following purposes:
1. To honour God.
2. To assess The Army’s current effectiveness in the world.
3. To refocus upon the primary mission of The Army: the saving of souls and the meeting of human need in Christ’s name.
4. To allow senior Army leaders to go deeper into Christ by praying, worshipping and thinking together.
5. To spend time in the Scriptures together.
6. To strategise together for The Army’s future work and witness.
7. To renew our personal commitment to our sacred calling as officers in The Salvation Army.
This conference is humbly yielded up to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ as a fragrant offering of loving gratitude for all His mercies.
