Balanced Plan
Balance in life is a concept most people would agree with. Matters like a balanced diet, balanced exercise, balanced relationship, and so forth dominate some of the best (balanced) advice we receive. I don’t take issue with balance as the possibility of being eccentric, or off centered can be disconcerting and distracting.
I’m thinking today of a balanced plan that guides and directs many people who are attempting to work together amidst so many variables and pressures. The balanced plan is one that gives equal opportunity for every participant to contribute as they can, in balance. For the ministry or mission to become out of balance, is to risk the danger of becoming off beat and lopsided.
In our work we’re attempting to keep the plan balanced so each has a fair go at achieving their outcomes in balance.
Ephesians 2:18 (MSG)
18 He treated us as equals, and so made us equals. Through him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father.
