Trust

by Jim Knaggs on May 18, 2009

Isn’t it great when you can trust someone? It allows you to rest in confidence of privacy and support. That can be a very comfortable place and non-threatening as well.

Who is it that you trust? There are different levels of trust, like the way we trust a security guard versus the way we trust our best friend. Who is it that you trust with your deepest thoughts?

You can trust God.

Proverbs 3:5 (MSG)
5 Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.

I like the way you aren’t afraid to use The Message when quoting from the bible. It is often criticised yet I find it so often captures the essence of what other translations say but in the language of today.
