Redcliffe City Corps, Queensland

by Jim Knaggs on March 29, 2009

Led by our friends, Lt. Colonels Brian and Elaine Hood, the Redcliffe City Corps is a beautiful expression of TSA. The meeting tonight was their youth meeting, filled with energy and creativity, all to the glory of God. I was glad to be there.

All over Australia the Lord is moving in wonderful ways. God is connecting with us powerfully and with great hope. Hallelujah!

Ephesians 4:30 (MSG)
30 Don’t grieve God. Don’t break his heart. His Holy Spirit, moving and breathing in you, is the most intimate part of your life, making you fit for himself. Don’t take such a gift for granted.

May I suggest a new update for the website on the bushfire work? The ‘latest’ update is now a month old.

I’m guessing you’re referring to our territorial website and I’m sure it’s a good idea.

    Jim,
One of my most precious memories was playing Divine Communion under Commissioner Richard Holtz when he was stationed as Chief Secretary in Sydney. I remember him Extracting Sweet Will of God from me minus my usual nerves. I was the flugel player in our band.

Yes, I did mean the Territorial website Jim, a good way to keep staff and the public in the loop. Cheers, Annette

Energy and creativity were things I used to dream of. Now, everywhere I go I hear the troops are weary. How many more appeals can the Army come up with. How many more events will we be told to attend. We do need to support the wider Army, but we on the ground need support too. Give us time to be part of our own congregation and give the Holy Spirit a chance to work in us and find our energy and creativity again.

John, Don’t know if you were at the concert. We sand the chorus Sweet Will of God. I think it’s been 20 yrs since I’ve sung it in a mtg.

Thanks, Annette, i was told today an update will soon appear.

Anon. – Sounds like you’re on the right track. Thanks.

    Jim,
Unfortunately I was not at the Gullidge concert. Maybe I should have been.
However I have the reason, excuse that I live in Sydney. As a matter of interest from my back fence you look out on to the Sydney Training college grounds. It is pure coincidence that this is the case. Richard and Ruby Holtz were our neighbours.
