Perhaps the Army could consider the Marxist approach "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. I have sat in on some riots of banquets when leaders have roared out "A dangerous tendency has shown itself of late among many of our personnel -- an unwillingness to share the joys and hardships of the masses, a concern for personal fame and gain.-Chairman Mao" heady stuff for a Braybrook iron factory boy.
