Sunset
So today is our last official day in our current appointments. Carolyn and I praise God for every minute of every opportunity in these last three years. It also points to what will likely be our last appointment in the Eastern Territory, USA. We have been able to serve 30 years in our home territory. Hallelujah!
Our hearts have begun to turn “down under” now that we anticipate our move to the Australia Southern Territory. We are hearing extraordinary reports about what we can expect and the warmth of the Australian people. That has been our personal experience as well.
Tonight we salute the Salvationists of the USA Eastern Territory in gratitude to God for you. We commend to you our successors and good friends, Lt. Colonels Larry and Gillian Bosh. They will continue to serve the Lord well. You can trust them and follow their leadership to glorify God. Hallelujah!
(The blog will continue for now, but with an adjusted qualifier in the title – same blog address.)
Acts 21:5 (MSG)
5 “When our time was up, they escorted us out of the city to the docks. Everyone came along – ?men, women, children. They made a farewell party of the occasion! We all kneeled together on the beach and prayed.”

My prayers go with you. I know you you will have to make many adjustments. One of the main ones, of course, will be getting used to being so far removed from your family and loved ones. Those challenges will be balanced by the opportunities that lie ahead of you. Savor those opportunities, for they will enrich your lives tremendously.
Many in the USA Eastern territory know Larry and Gill Bosh well. Those of us who have been privileged to know and love them during their tenure at National Headquarters will miss them greatly. They are caring, humble, godly people. Our loss in Virginia is the Eastern territory’s gain.
Know that we will continue to pray for you in your God appointed positions. Know that we love you and consider you spiritual mentors and leaders. Thank you for your example of leadership and of humility.
God Bless Jim and Carolyn Knaggs
God Bless the Australia Southern Territory
God Bless the Eastern Territory

The prayers of Trista and I are with you!
Go with the strength of the Lord and continue to do mighty works for Him!
For Blood and Fire,
Dave
We have appreciated yours and Carolyn’s ministry over many of those years. Friendship dating back to Star Lake, 10-Day Campaign in Wilkes-Barrie, our guests at retreats, your leadership and interest. You have been dynamic role-models to many.
We extend our best wishes and prayer support for this new ministry opportunity and for your family here in the states. There gain, our loss. We know God is already preparing the way.
Look forward to future blogs and opportunities to commicate.
We will see you upon your return.
Watch out for the crocs! Watch out for kangaroos in the highway! Enjoy your time on the most unique of continents.
Know that you will be missed!
P.S. How are you going to keep track of the Yankees? I am sure you are thanking Al Gore for inventing the internet!
You have had an incredible impact on generations of Salvationists…The Aussie’s are blessed you are going “down under”
Hallelujah!
The Lord bless you and keep you, making His face to shine upon you, and give you peace!
